Age and exceptions

Standard age: 19. 16-18: documentation of non-enrollment - 'Request for Approval to Test' form from the last WA district attended (or district of residence), submitted to and approved by the test center; homeschool students need a notarized parent/guardian statement. Exceptions for military, incarcerated, and Open Doors (Options) program students via test-center verification. WA residency required.

Retake rules

Online-proctored retakes are NOT discounted (full price). No wait for retakes 1-2; after a third failed attempt in a subject, a 60-day wait applies before retesting that subject.
