About DiplomaPath.

DiplomaPath is the neutral layer for a test that two competing makers sell. One maker will never price the other's test; neither will tell you your state tests free, that your record sits behind a different door than your neighbor's, or that the cheapest legal path in your state runs through the other company's product. A neutral site can — so this one does, in plain words, from the official sources, with the dates and the flags showing.

What lives here

• The Path Checker — your state, age and test choice computed into tests, costs, modes and retake exposure.
• The Readiness Planner — free, standalone, calendarized, hours-paced, budgeted in your state's retake prices, neutral between tests.
• The Transcript Finder — the custodian dataset (Parchment 19 · DiplomaSender 14 · state-direct 18), by state and year.
• The companion print workbook and its free audio library, plus the $19 printable Pass Plan.

How the facts are kept

Every state row was read from the official policy page in full on 2026-10-20; every cell we could not verify is flagged on its page; corrections are published on the correction log, not patched silently. Scale figures come from the test maker's own 2025 year-in-review. We never ask you to upload a document, and every tool runs in your browser.

GED is a registered trademark of the American Council on Education and HiSET is a mark of PSI Services; both names appear here only to name the tests themselves.
