Standard age: 19. 17-18: officially withdrawn from a CT school for at least 6 months with withdrawal form + counselor/administrator attestation and parent/guardian signature; homeschool path via CT DOE GED office attestation form.

Retake rules

GED retakes: CONNECTICUT DIFFERS from the national pattern: you must wait 60 days before retaking ANY failed subject, and may retake a given subject at most 3 times per year. A no-show counts as an attempt.
